Our science teacher, Maria-Rose Cain was named National Finalist for the Shell Oil Science Lab Challenge! Shell Oil Company and the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) announced the grand prizewinner and four national finalists on March 20. Thanks to Mrs. Cain's creative efforts in engaging and motivating our students using limited lab resources, St. Martin's will be awarded a science lab makeover support package valued at $8,500. In addition, Mrs. Cain will soon be on her way to an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles, CA to attend the National Science Teachers Association's Science Education Conference, where she will be honored at a black-tie dinner gala.  We are so proud of Mrs. Cain, this national recognition, and the science lab grant and equipment that we will be receiving. We are excited that our student's at St. Martin's continuously benefit from Mrs. Cain's innovative and tireless efforts.
