The Bethesda Big Train showcased St. Martin’s School during their first baseball game of the season. The Big Train plays in the Cal Ripken collegiate league with teams made up of mostly Division 1 players from around the country. The game was played at Shirley Povich Field at Cabin John Regional Park. Our choir sang the national anthem to open the game, one of our Kindergarteners threw out the first pitch, and the crowd, filled with St. Martin's spirit and cheer, was treated to a great baseball game. Many baseball fans stopped by the St. Martin’s table to learn more about our school. Everyone had fun with Homer, the Big Train mascot and enjoyed concessions from the Home Run Café. It was a terrific event as we celebrated another successful school year.
